DATE: Victorian, c.1870

A delightful Victorian heart locket, pavé set with pearls and turquoise cabochons and featuring a star-set rose cut diamond to the centre. The turquoise have discoloured beautifully over the years, each one having taken on a slightly different green/blue hue. Complete with its original pearl-set bail, it dates from the 1870s and remains in great condition.
